KemLight for Kerrville: Grief Coaching After the Flood
Date: July 2025
In response to devastating flooding in Kerrville, Texas, KemLight launched a targeted grief support effort. In collaboration with Rhapsody Healthcare Systems (RHS), we sponsored free grief coaching sessions for five individuals or families who lost loved ones, homes or stability—and lacked access to mental health resources.
This initiative prioritizes those most affected, referred by trusted organizations like the Salvation Army – Kerrville.
The KemLight Scholars Program
Date: June 2025
Launched at the foundation’s inception, this program supports children of community changemakers—those whose lives reflect service, resilience, and vision. The scholarship honors both academic promise and the commitment to give back to their homeland, fostering a circle of generational uplift.
