Honoring the Legacy that Lights Our Path

At the heart of KemLight Foundation is a flame — one sparked by the lives of remarkable individuals whose unwavering values, generosity, and service have illuminated communities across generations. These are our Torchbearers — those whose integrity, faith, and tireless love have shaped who we are and inspire what we do.

Today, we pay tribute to those whose light continues to guide the mission and heartbeat of KemLight Foundation.

Chief and Mrs. Adebisi Samuel Oluyole

Legacy of Integrity and Community

Born May 20, 1925, and departing this life gracefully on his 97th birthday in 2022, Grandpa was a man of rare character and unwavering integrity.

Together with Grandma, they built a life anchored on simple yet powerful principles: "Friend to all, enemy to none. Integrity is key. Never cultivate a parasitic relationship. Unity is paramount."

As a couple, they lived these values daily — transparent in their dealings, zealous in their convictions, and wholly devoted to the people, causes, and communities they believed in.

While Grandpa was prudent and disciplined, both he and Grandma were abundantly generous — sowing into lives, churches, and communities they considered fertile ground. Whether through donations of funds, buildings, vehicles, or selfless service, their joint legacy of contribution echoes across generations. They shared a remarkable partnership, balancing family, business, ministry, and community service with grace and disciplined precision. Grandpa, a respected church leader and active member of committees like the Olokuta Church Building Committee, Harvest Committee, and Ijebu Igbo Progressive Poultry & Farmers Development, left indelible marks on every life he touched. Grandma, with equal strength, nurtured their family and community, embodying quiet wisdom, steadfast faith, and sacrificial love. Today, as we light the torch of KemLight, I honor them both as the original bearers of this flame.

Their high moral standards, unwavering faith, and commitment to nurturing community and illuminating pathways remain the heartbeat of this foundation. May their enduring light continue to shine through every initiative, every life touched, and every legacy built through KemLight.

To the torch bearers — your light lives on
